Florida head football coach Jim McElwain was the focal point of one of the most bizarre stories of the offseason.
Earlier this year, a photo surfaced across the internet of a man that looked awfully like the Gators' football coach — awkwardly straddling a shark on the deck of a boat. Naked.
The problem? Instead of just brushing the incident off — McElwain took it to the next level and said the incident was an "indictment on society," and stated that it effected his family and employer.

Listen, I'm not McElwain and don't know the kind of pushback and nonsense that took place because of this. I just kind of assumed everyone associated with the university understood this was a dumb internet prank and kind of laughed it off, but it's clear the Gators' front man is never going to let it go.

It's fair to wonder if there's a reason why he continues to get so angry and defensive. What if it actually was him in the photo after all?
Just kidding. I'm not going to start that whole narrative — but the Florida head coach just needs to let it go.
