Johnny Manziel's work ethic sucked, says Johnny Manziel. And had the Cleveland Browns done their homework, they wouldn't have expected him to eat, sleep and drink football.
The Johnny Manziel Redemption Tour rolled on this week as the Heisman winner and former first-round pick joined The Dan Patrick Show to talk about his football career, among other things. Manziel talked about being chosen by the Browns with the 22nd pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and basically said they were idiots for investing a high pick him.
"If Cleveland did any of their homework they would have known I wasn't a guy who came in every day and watch[ed] film. I wasn't a guy who really knew the X's and O's of football."
You know it's bad when a player is mocking your team for picking him.
