Watch The One-Handed Catch That Introduced Alabama’s Julio Jones to the Nation

HERO Sports by HERO Sports
September 18, 2017

Julio Jones did it again last night.

The 6-foot-3 receiver for the Atlanta Falcons scorched the Green Bay Packers defense with 5 catches for 108 yards in a 34-23 win that wasn't really that close.

Considering how he tormented the SEC for three years in college, his professional success shouldn't come as much of a surprise.

In just three years at Alabama, Jones snagged 179 catches for 2,653 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also ran in another pair of scores his junior year.

But it was this one-handed catch against San Jose State in the 2009 opener that really introduced Julio Jones to the college football world.

I guess we shouldn't be remotely surprised that Jones' talents have transitioned seamlessly to the NFL.

Through two games of the 2017 season, the wideout has amassed 506 career catches for 7,784 yards and 40 touchdowns.

Check out 10 of his best NFL catches that remind us why he's one of the sport's elite athletes.
