Kirk Herbstreit has been the face of ESPN College GameDay for more than two decades. He's also considered being the face of a college football program.
"There are times I think about it," he said this week on the High Motor podcast. "I've had some assistant coach opportunities that I could've gotten into.
"If I ever did do it, I would not just randomly pick a spot. I would try to pick a spot — if I were to do it — where you'd be a position coach for a year or two and become a coordinator for a year or two and become a head coach."
