Las Vegas does not think highly of many Big Ten teams entering the 2017 college football season.
Of the six Power Five teams with an over/under win total of 3.5 or lower (via South Point Race and Sports Book), four are in the Big Ten: Purdue (tied for Kansas with lowest in Power Five and five others for lowest in FBS), Maryland, Rutgers and Illinois. The Big Ten also owns three of the four lowest totals, all at three wins or lower.
The ACC has three teams — none of which are below four wins — while the Big 12 and Pac-12 have two apiece. The SEC is the only Power Five conference without a team below five wins (their lowest are Mississippi State and South Carolina at five).
