Mike Norvell was floated as a potential replacement for Bret Bielema at Arkansas two years ago. Two years later, his name is being floated as a potential replacement for Bielema's replacement, Chad Morris.
Norvell, 38, is 35-15 in four seasons at Memphis, where he arrived prior to the 2016 after spending nine years on Todd Graham's staffs at Tulsa, Pittsburgh and Arizona State. While Memphis has bumped his salary and increased his assistant pool, he's still a popular name for Power Five head-coaching vacancies, including Arkansas and Florida State this year.
