Maryland went on the road against Minnesota and earned a gritty victory without it's top two quarterbacks, but Minnesota didn't go down without a fight and came up with one of the catches of the year late in the game.

Late in the fourth quarter and down by a touchdown, Eric Carter came up with an incredible catch, laying out parallel to the ground to bring in the ball and put the Gophers near the goal line.

Despite the incredible play, Maryland got the last laugh and went on to win the game 31-24. After Minnesota scored, Ty Johnson sealed it for Maryland:
