Minnesota is celebrating their mascot's birthday with awesome new helmets.
The Gophers are 2-0 under first-year head coach P.J. Fleck after obliterating Oregon State on the road last week. He's the program's first head coach to start 2-0 in more than 60 years and has barreled into Minneapolis like a freight train in hopes of delivering their first Big Ten championship since 1967.

And his quest for 3-0 will include gold helmets featuring an oversized image of their mascot, Goldy Gopher, who's celebrating his birthday on Saturday during their game against Middle Tennessee.
