A walk-on is completely stunned out of nowhere when presented with a full scholarship. Often, the player is given the news in such a unique way that the whole team goes berserk.

This week, new Minnesota head coach P.J. Fleck presented senior kicker Justin Juenemann with a full ride courtesy of Kyle Tanner, a patient at the University of Minnesota's Masonic Children's Hospital, and a t-shirt cannon.
You really do have to see it to believe it.

Talk about a whirlwind week. Only a few days ago Juenemann was a walk-on kicker. Today, the senior was featured on ESPN's SportsCenter.
Juenemann and his teammates are hard at work gearing up for their August 31 home opener against Buffalo. Fleck is looking to improve a squad that went an impressive 9-4 last season, including a Holiday Bowl victory over Washington State.
