Minot State was walloped by Minnesota Duluth, 52-7, in the season opener for both Division-II teams on Thursday night but the Beavers won the night with one of the most incredible plays you'll ever see.
Trailing 15-0 late in the first quarter, UMD kicked off to freshman returner Cory Carignan, a 5-foot-10, 170-pounder playing his first college game. Carignan muffed the catch and stumbled into the endzone. Twenty-two seconds later, Carignan was in the other endzone.
