The city of Los Angeles will soon be home to a pair of NFL teams after both the St. Louis Rams and the San Diego Chargers bolted (get it?) for the City of Angels. L.A. will play host to the Super Bowl in 2022 — which of their new teams is most likely to contend for a title by then?

It's easy to say the Chargers are the most likely team considering the current roster. With potential superstars on offense in Melvin Gordon and rookie wide receiver Mike Williams, they look like the favorite compared to the dumpster fire the Rams put on the field last season.
But you have to consider Philip Rivers' age — will he still be quarterbacking the Chargers in 2022? Probably not.
