In a somewhat surprising move, the Buffalo Bills announced this week that they are benching starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor in favor of rooking QB Nathan Peterman.
As you can see below, when it comes to Nathan Peterman stats and the NFL, there's not much to go by as he prepares to make his first start at the Los Angeles Chargers.

Nathan Peterman Stats with Buffalo Bills
Peterman saw some garbage time action last week in a blowout home loss to New Orleans. There's not much to go off of here, but for what it's worth the QB went 7 of 10 for 79 yards and his first NFL TD.

Nathan Peterman Stats with Pittsburgh Panthers
Here's Peterman's college stats from his stint at Tennessee and as a two-year starter at Pittsburgh after he transferred in 2015.
What's especially impressive was how Peterson performed in big games last season, including the Panthers' stunning 43-42 upset against #2 Clemson in Death Valley. In that contest, the QB was 22 of 37 for 308 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Here's some of his best highlights from college that will hopefully give Bills' fans hope about hanging onto the sixth and final wild card spot this year although it will be tough with the Patriots on the schedule twice and date with Kansas City in two weeks.
