Watching this video it is quickly noticeable that defensive backs in college football may as well give up right now. The first two plays of the film – and specifically the first play by Washington State quarterback Luke Falk – are played perfectly by the defensive backs in question. This doesn't seem to matter one bit, however, as the ball is placed in the one spot it can't be defended for the wide receivers to make remarkable plays.
This just proves once again that being a cornerback or safety is a fool's errand in 2017.
