It is not very often that you get a hype video 100 days before a college football game. That would mean that the game would realistically have to be the first contest of the season and first game are never that good.
Not this year.
Opening weekend in 2017 features at least a half dozen outstanding matchups that could be high-level bowl games at the end of the year. It also has one game, the clash between Alabama and Florida State, that is in the discussion for the greatest opening weekend game ever played as it features a pair of consensus top three squads who have National Championship designs at the end of the season.
