It is always said that one of the best ways to beat a highly ranked opponent is to score a touchdown on special teams. The No. 15 Houston Cougars beat the favored No. 3 Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday at NRG Stadium in Houston in large part to a 109-yard missed field goal return by Brandon Wilson. Oklahoma was down 19-17 at the time and knew that a made field goal would take them into the lead. Instead, Wilson caught the ball with the back of his foot less than an inch from the back of the end-zone and tore up the right sideline, outflanking the awful Oklahoma coverage to score. As you will see in the video the only player that got close to stopping Wilson was actually one of his teammates, but Wilson hurdled that player and scored the touchdown that sparked the upset.
