The Huskers played their spring game before 86,818 fans on Saturday, the most in the country and about 8,000 more than last year's crowd at Memorial Stadium. Georgia (82,184) was the only other team to hit 80,000.
Nebraska's attendance was 96.5 percent the capacity of the stadium and exceeded the total 2017 attendance for 15 FBS teams. And while it's meaningless to compare the attendance of an exhibition game for one of the highest-drawing programs in college football to regular-season dates for a pile of Group of Five programs, it's still notable how large of a crowd watched Scott Frost's return to Lincoln.
