The boys (and gal) of East Mississippi Community College are back.
After a hugely successful and widely applauded season one of Last Chance U, the Netflix original series was renewed for a second season. The series follows the football program at EMCC in the tiny, unknown town of Scooba, Miss. The first season made headlines for everything from the bizarre non-happenings of Scooba and its residents to fascinating stories of student-athletes and one gigantic on-field brawl.
Head coach Buddy Stephens and academic advisor Brittany Wagner will once again be featured, along with Florida State transfer De'Andre Johnson, Penn State transfer Kamonte Carter and others. Netflix dropped a spectacular trailer on Thursday that includes some clips from this season, scheduled to be available on July 1.
