Saeed Blacknall needed a big-time performance at Penn State's Pro Day on Tuesday. He delivered.
Blacknall, a 6-foot-2, 208-pound receiver, appeared in 47 career games over four seasons for the Nittany Lions. He had 50 catches for 979 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging over 20 yards per catch. And on Tuesday he reminded everyone why he routinely ran past — and around — defenders.
Blacknall was expected to flirt with the 4.40-second 40-yard-dash mark. He did more than flirt; he went under 4.40, posting a 4.39, which would've been the third-lowest time among receivers at the NFL Combine. It was reported by, among others, Fansided's George Stockburger, that Blacknall also did individual drills for the Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins .
