Power Five teams whiffed badly on Franklin County High School quarterback Logan Woodside.
A three-star recruit and the 11th-ranked player in the Bluegrass State, Woodside earned zero FBS offers. He passed for 73 touchdowns and more than 8,000 yards the last two years.

Louisiana – Derrius Guice, RB, LSU
Hometown: Baton Rouge, La.

Only Damien Harris, Soso Jamabo, Jacques Patrick and Ronald Jones II were ranked ahead of Derrius Guice in the 2015 running back recruiting rankings.
Guice, a star at Baton Rouge's Catholic High School, was the second-ranked prospect from Louisiana and is now competing to be the second running back off the board in April.

Maryland – Ian Thomas, TE, Indiana

Ian Thomas was a three-star JUCO recruit in 2016 who picked Indiana over Texas A&M and others.
The Baltimore native who played at Digital Harbor High School, Thomas is a big-play tight end who had 25 receptions for 376 yards and five touchdowns last year. He's a third-day prospect.

Massachusetts – Maurice Hurst, DT, Michigan
Hometown: Westwood, Mass.

Maurice Hurst arrived at Michigan in 2013 as a four-star product of Xaverian Brothers High School in Massachusetts. He left as a First-Team All-American with 12.5 sacks and 32.5 tackles for loss.
Five years after he was the state's second-ranked player and 21st-ranked defensive tackle, he could be a first-round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Michigan – Chukwuma Okorafor, OT, Western Michigan
Hometown: Southfield, Mich.

Chukwuma Okorafor had two offers during the spring of 2013: Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan. He picked the Broncos in April 2013 and, despite late offers from Ohio State, Nebraska and others, remained committed to his home-state school.
The state's 11th-ranked recruit became a three-year starter in Kalamazoo.
