The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Connor Williams (2017) vs. Isaiah Wynn (2017)
This video from Texas Longhorns features Texas OT Connor Williams. Williams had a monster season in 2016 as he picked up All-American nods as a sophomore on the Longhorns offensive line. Primed for a big season in 2017, the 6-foot-5, 320-pounder went down with an MCL and PCL injury against USC that cost him the majority of the year. He returned for a couple of Big 12 games – in essence just to prove his health – and then shut things down in preparation for the 2018 NFL Draft. If Williams is the same player he was as a sophomore then he is a brick wall in pass protection who is worthy of a first-round grade.
