THE SKINNY

The Dukes aren't as deep as the other three teams when it comes to producing NFL talent, but their top two players Gary Clark and Charles Haley won a combined 7 Super Bowl rings and have a lot of accomplishments James Madison can be proud of. Haley was stellar for both the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys in his career, finding much success in both locations. He was a Pro Bowler for both clubs, and is listed with the Cowboys' Ring of Honor and he is also listed as part of the 49ers Hall of Fame. Clark's accomplishments include four Pro Bowl appearances with the Washington Redskins, along with two Super Bowl rings and he is listed as one of the 70 Greatest Redskins. You could take either of these two and Youngstown grad Ron Jaworski and you could make an argument for them for the top spot. It's kind of amazing to think — Haley and Clark played for the Dukes at the same time in the early 1980s.
