Hue Jackson went 0-16 last season to follow up on a 1-15 campaign in 2016, and yet the Cleveland Browns head coach will return this year for his third season at the helm. When it comes to coaching hot seats, NFL chairs don't get much warmer than his (although there are four additional gentlemen who also may want to invest in a fire extinguisher this fall).

Here are five of the hottest coaching seats heading into the 2018 NFL campaign.

Hue Jackson — Cleveland Browns
There are a tremendous number of wondrous mysteries in this great galaxy of ours: How did the ancient Egyptians build the pyramids; Is Bigfoot real; Are there aliens out there in the universe; How is Hue Jackson still the head coach of the Cleveland Browns despite a 1-31 record with the team and overall coaching mark of just 9-39?
While the Browns have been busy this offseason with new additions and currently hold the first and fourth overall selections in this year's NFL Draft, the squad that went winless last year is also looking at a brutal 2018 schedule.
Along with six difficult division games, the Browns NFC crossover division is perhaps the strongest in the entire league. Cleveland will have to face the NFC South, which sent three teams to the playoffs a year ago and features a potentially up-and-coming Tampa Bay squad.
If that wasn't bad enough, Cleveland also gets all four opponents from a solid AFC West division.
Good luck Mr. Jackson.

Vance Joseph — Denver Broncos
Joseph had a rough first season in Denver, no thanks in large part to a trio of quarterbacks that generally stunk up the joint.
The defense remains one of the strongest in the league, but if John Elway and company snag a solid QB with their fifth overall choice, Joseph could feel even more pressure to make the playoffs in 2018.

Dirk Koetter — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay was the team to watch in 2017. Instead, they were the only squad in its division not to make the playoffs.
Koetter hasn't been awful, but he hasn't exactly been stellar either in accumulating a 14-18 mark over two seasons. If the Bucs have another 5-11 disaster like a season ago, it's hard to imagine him getting a fourth crack at it.

Adam Gase — Miami Dolphins
Speaking of terribly average, Gase is 16-16 with the Dolphins over 2 season. He's going to get starting QB Ryan Tannehill back, but last time I checked Miami is still in the same division as New England.
2018 is definitely a do-or-die season for Gase.

Jason Garrett — Dallas Cowboys
Owner Jerry Jones has been incredibly patient with Garrett as the head coach has gone 67-53 during his time in Dallas. However, despite two NFC East crowns and a Coach of the Year award, the Cowboys are still winless in the playoffs under his command.
