The term "one and done" has become synonymous with college basketball stars leaving campus for the NBA after one season of action. Every once in a while, however, the one and done moniker is bestowed up an NFL head coach that failed to meet organizational expectations.
While it is certainly too early to project potential one-and-out coaches in 2018, things haven't gotten off to a good start for coaches like Matt Patrica in Detroit. Week 1 was a showcase of anemic offenses, multiple turnovers, and defenses made of Swiss cheese by both squads.

What's interesting to note is Patrica could potentially join a formidable list of coaches axed after wearing the headset for only one year. We're talking the likes of college guru Chip Kelly, Super Bowl winner Pete Carroll, and 205-win legend Marty Schottenheimer.
And in an ironic twist, Hue Jackson, who is projected to be the first head coach fired this year, also joins this list.
