Four running backs posted a 40-time of 4.46 seconds or better at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine. Derrius Guice and Nick Chubb weren't among them but the former SEC running backs can fly — and they've always been able to fly.

Chubb was a multi-sport star at Cedartown (Ga.) High School, excelling in football and track and field. The four-star football recruit ran for nearly 7,000 yards and competed in numerous track and field events, including the shot put, long jump and 100-meter dash. Chubb won the state title in the shot put and set a school record with a 10.69-second mark in the 100-meter dash.
Guice, meanwhile, was a four-star football prospect at Catholic High School in Baton Rouge who routinely recorded sub-11-second times in the 100-meter dash. His best time was 10.92 seconds.
Both players are expected to be selected on the second day of the 2018 NFL Draft.
