Spring practice is just underway in Tuscaloosa, but head coach Nick Saban is already in mid-season form at Alabama after only one day. Saban was so on fire that he played the role of both head coach and question-asking reporter this week during a press conference.

Watch Saban get instantly irritated while talking about everything from depth charts to practice reps to the loss of numerous assistant coaches over the winter.
Who knows, maybe the Crimson Tide head coach was in a foul mood after his championship-game rallying quarterback Tua Tagovailoa hurt the thumb on his throwing hand during day one of spring practice.
"Probably going to require some time for him to get back," Saban said while irritated during his press conference. "I'm not going to speculate on what the injury might be."
Alabama's spring game doesn't take place until April 21, and the Crimson Tide won't play a meaningful game until its opener on September 1 when it faces Louisville in Orlando, Florida.
This bodes well for college football fans everywhere as it provides months and months of more entertaining press conferences like this week's spectacular gem.
The real question is this: When will Florida Atlantic head coach Lane Kiffin have fun with this and other topics to take jabs at his former boss on Twitter?
Oh, well that didn't take very long now did it?
But you're millions ahead of your mentor in TWEETS!
Maybe you could mentor him?#rolltide
