Nike is giving love to the big guys.
The shoe and apparel giant unveiled new cleats on Thursday that are designed specifically for lineman. The Nike Force Savage Elite is designed to protect the feet and ankles of lineman without sacrificing power or explosiveness.
"They’re super physical and aggressive, but they’re also explosive and incredibly versatile,” says Erin Cochrane, Lead Footwear Designer for the cleat. "We worked with the Nike Sport Research Lab and found that after about 20 minutes, tape doesn’t provide any physical benefit."

Among the cleat's features are triangular structures on the top of cleat to protect from players stepping on the toes and triangular studs that line the outside to provide 360-degree traction.
Though the designs' purpose sits above all else, they're also some darn good looking cleats.
