Oregon has hosted an FCS team each year since 2012, but with all due respect to Montana, Portland State, Eastern Washington, and other recent FCS foes, this year is different. Hosting North Dakota State in Week 1 is different.

The Bison haven't played an FBS team since a 2016 win over Iowa, their sixth win over an FBS opponent in seven years, and, in more than a century of existence, have never played a Pac-12 team.
