In forty-one seconds, Ohio State managed to bring their fans to their knees, sobbing uncontrollably as they pleaded for the 2017 season to start immediately.
The Buckeyes were once again gashed by departures, including three first-round picks in the secondary, but once again reloaded with a slew of youngsters to complement returning veterans J.T. Barrett, Sam Hubbard and Tyquan Lewis. They're seeking a sixth-straight season with 11 or more wins and their third playoff appearance in four seasons.
That quest doesn't technically begin until Aug. 31 with a road game — and rare Big Ten season opener — against Indiana and there are a folks wishing the season began today after Ohio State dropped a nasty hype video.
