Montravius Adams had a draft day unlike any other player selected in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Adams, a 6-foot-4, 304-pound defensive tackle who had 18 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks the last three seasons at Auburn, received a call from the Green Bay Packers on Friday night notifying him they would select him with the No. 93 pick.
He was not at home, nor was at a draft party. He was in a hospital beside his girlfriend, who just gave birth to their son, Montravius Jr. a few hours earlier.
