Everyone is thinking the same thing: How can Penn State go more retro with their uniforms?
The Nittany Lions have one of the most iconic and long-standing looks in college football, donning their simple blue and white uniforms for decades. Despite the already-retro scheme, Penn State is going even more retro for their home game against Indiana on Sept. 30.

On Thursday, they tweeted a video and photos of new Generations of Greatness uniforms. While they appear to be almost exactly the same as their current digs, they do have two distinct differences: block numbers and helmet numbers.
"This [uniform] is a way to focus on all of the unbelievable different time periods — our Generations of Greatness," said head coach James Franklin.
