There are many conference title games taking place this weekend, and out of them all the Big Ten Championship Game may well be the hardest to call. This college football contest sees No. 6 Wisconsin take on No. 7 Penn State at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. This neutral site game is unique among those this championship week as the Badgers and Nittany Lions are the third and fourth highest ranked teams in their own conference behind Ohio State and Michigan. As a result, the outcome of this game will play a huge part in determining some of the four teams to be selected for the College Football Playoff.

Before we turn to playoff talk, however, there is a championship to be won. James Franklin has done an unbelievable job to get Penn State to this point as he is still fighting the loss of scholarships after the recent scandal at the university. That he was able to win a division that features the coaching talents of Urban Meyer, Jim Harbaugh, and Mark Dantonio (even in a bad year), is very impressive. The former Vanderbilt head coach has proven he belongs at a school of Penn State's caliber with his performance this season.
This video from CBS Sports Network features a number of analysts looking at the contest and giving their opinion as to who will win the game. Obviously, there are a number of different opinions given, but most seem to agree that it should be a fun matchup between two teams that were not expected to be in this situation. Wisconsin is a physical, almost old-fashioned, style team that wants to win with great offensive line play and a solid running game and this should look like a Big Ten game of old.
