Recruit Visits Ohio State, Replicates Photo From Visit as 12-Year-Old

P.J. Mustipher's 6-foot-5, 275-pound frame suggests he's had a few growth spurts in his life. We don't need a photo of the 2018 four-star defensive tackle to tell us that. Nonetheless, his re-creation of a five-year-old photo offered a clear reminder and prompted a few chuckles too.

Mustipher, the nation's eighth-ranked defensive tackle and 136-rated player nationally (Rivals), visited Ohio State on Saturday, checking out one of the billion schools who have offered him. And as the Maryland native strolled past the Buckeyes' wall of award-winning former players, he stopped for a photo.

It was the exact same place that he did five years ago when visiting as a 12-year-old with his old brother Sam, another four-star 2014 prospect who ultimately committed to Notre Dame.

Ohio State's 2018 class already includes three four-star players and five-star quarterback Jaiden Woodbey. Mustipher has not named his finalists, nor he has set a date for a verbal commitment.
