The top 10 of the College Football Playoff rankings have never remained the same in two consecutive weeks. That could happen after Week 12.

We've already seen a ton of shuffling in the first three CFP Rankings this season, thanks to upsets, résumé-building wins and other results worthy of moving a team up or down one, two, three or more spots. But because of an uneventful Week 12 schedule that features just one top-10 team playing a ranked opponent (No. 5 Wisconsin hosts No. 24 Michigan), there might be minimal movement, if any at all.
Nine of the teams are at home (No. 4 Oklahoma visits Kansas), two play FCS teams and others, including Miami (vs. Virginia) Ohio State (vs. Illinois) and Penn State (vs. Nebraska) play teams who can't buy a win right now.
If Wisconsin barely edges Michigan and every other team wins, it is possible that not one of the top-10 teams will move one or multiple spots come next Tuesday night.
