The 2017 NFL Draft is upon us. The yearly extravaganza is taking place in Philadelphia from Thursday, April 27 to Saturday, April 29 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars are finding new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
Alex Anzalone of Florida was taken in the third round of the NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. The Anzalone pick is something of a leap of faith by the Saints given that the player only appeared in two games in 2015 due to a shoulder injury and that he had his 2016 season cut short with a forearm problem.
