The 2017 NFL Draft is upon us. The yearly extravaganza is taking place in Philadelphia from Thursday, April 27 to Saturday, April 29 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars are finding new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
Chidobe Awuzie of Colorado was drafted in the second round by the Dallas Cowboys. At six feet tall and 200 pounds, Awuzie has the size to be an effective defensive back in the NFL and the versatility to play anywhere in the secondary. Awuzie had three picks in four years and 26 tackles for a loss at Colorado.
