The 2017 NFL Draft is upon us. The yearly extravaganza is taking place in Philadelphia from Thursday, April 27 to Saturday, April 29 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars are finding new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.

Dawuane Smoot of Illinois was picked in the third round by the Jacksonville Jaguars. This was a surprising pick for many as Smoot was seen as a lower middle round selection after a senior season where he managed just five sacks. He will look to rebound after his star faded and he has the frame and athletic ability to do so.
