The 2017 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Philadelphia from Thursday, April 27 to Saturday, April 29 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
George Kittle of Iowa was pigeonholed as a blocking TE with limited upside in the passing game when the predraft process began. Kittle though went on to wow at the NFL scouting combine, where he ran a 4.52-second 40-yard dash and then performed a broad jump of more than 11 feet. These two marks were among the best in his position group and saw Kittle's stock go through the roof.
