The 2017 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Philadelphia from Thursday, April 27 to Saturday, April 29 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.

Safety Obi Melifonwu was a four-year starter at Connecticut who will immediately help some NFL team with his skills and leadership on the field. Melifonfu has the skill set and frame to play as a strong safety with the versatility to switch to the outside linebacker spot in certain situational packages.
Given the number of sub-packages we see used in the league these days, that versatility has boosted Melifonwu from a relative unknown when the draft process began to being a likely first round choice.
