The 2017 NFL Draft is almost upon us. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Philadelphia from Thursday, April 27 to Saturday, April 29 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
Sidney Jones of Washington faced a huge hurdle in his draft process when he suffered a torn Achilles tendon while conducting his Pro Day workout in March. Jones has rebounded well from the injury and medical reports that have been sent to teams suggest that he could return to the field as soon as Septemeber.
As Jones was seen as a first round lock before his injury it will be interesting to see what this news does for him on draft day.
