Apparently Johnny Hekker never realized how much bigger, stronger and more intimidating non-specialists are in the NFL. During the Rams' stunning 23-17 victory over the Seahawks in Week 16, the St. Louis punter's odd attempt to send a physical message hilariously backfired. Following a first-half punt, Hekker laid out Seahawks' defensive end Cliff Avril with a very unnecessary hit miles away from the play:
Hekker was flagged for the hit but that wasn't enough punishment, at least according to Avril and Seattle teammate Michael Bennett. Watch as Avril terrifies the fourth-year punter before Bennett finishes him off.
