How far did Florida State fall after a 24-7 loss to Alabama? What about the not-so-stellar efforts by the Pac-12's top two teams?

Biggest Risers
Washington State moved up four spots in the AP Poll and from unranked to No. 22 in the Coaches Poll. Virginia Tech moved up four spots in the Coaches Poll and three places in the AP Top 25.
Michigan moved up three places, jumping Big Ten rival Wisconsin, in the AP Top 25. In the Coaches Poll, Jim Harbaugh's team moved up just one spot. Tennessee stayed put in the AP but are up three spots in the Coaches Poll.
Biggest Fallers
Florida takes home the honors, falling eight places in the Coaches Poll and five in the AP. Florida State fell seven spots in the AP and six in the Coaches Poll. No other team fell more than two places and remained in the Top 25 of either poll.
Joining the Party
TCU and Notre Dame jumped into the Top 25 in the AP Poll. The Irish also jumped into the Coaches Poll's Top 25. Washington State was unranked last week and now sit at No. 22 in the Coaches Poll.
Falling From Grace
West Virginia and Texas both fell from both polls. The Mountaineers lost to Virginia Tech in one of the better games of the weekend. Texas fell to Maryland in Austin.
Knocking on the Door
Utah, UCLA, Colorado, Maryland, Oregon, Arkansas, South Carolina and Boise State are pushing for rankings. Houston, Memphis, San Diego State, Northwestern and Texas Tech are next.
