No visiting basketball recruit at Kansas has ever criticized the raucous atmosphere of Allen Fieldhouse. Still, KU fans will still love the praise from uncommitted five-star point guard Trevon Duval.
The 6-foot-2, 189-pounder is the No. 4 prospect in the 2017 class (Rivals). He's considering Arizona, Duke and Kansas, and attended huge games at each school: Arizona vs. UCLA on Feb. 25, Duke vs. North Carolina on Feb. 9 and Kansas vs. Baylor on Feb. 1. And while Duval said all good things about each visit and program in general, his evaluation of the Allen Fieldhouse crowd during their win over the second-ranked Bears will make Jayhawk fans want him to replace Frank Mason III even more, if that's possible.

"Kansas, their atmosphere at their game was . . . their atmosphere was at an 11," he told Andrew Slater of 247Sports. "Duke was at a 10. Kansas was great. It was nice. It’s unbelievable, especially for a big game."
Duval has not set an exact date for his decision but prior to the Nike Hoop Summit last week, he did tell Ashley Williams of USA Today that he plans to announce in late April.
