My wife and I were watching the Oklahoma–Baylor game on Saturday afternoon when Sooners' receiver CeeDee Lamb made a spectacular one handed-catch in the first quarter.
Me: "Holy hell check out this catch."
Her: "Meh, it's not like an OBJ catch or anything."
Honey, I present to you: Sam Houston State receiver Davion Davis.
In the second quarter of the Bearkats' Week 5 game vs. Central Arkansas, Davis — the 2017 Southland Conference Player of the Year who's approaching 3,000 career receiving yards — made an OBJ catch that will go down as one of the best catches in football history. I am not speaking hyperbolically.
Her: "He didn't catch that…he caught that?!?!"
Me: "Davion (non-PG word) Davis."
