Anderson reported on Friday evening, moments after the Huskers' loss to Iowa in the regular-season finale, that UCF head coach Scott Frost to the Huskers is a "done deal."
Anderson's tweet came during the final minutes of the Knights' thrilling win over USF in their regular-season finale. It gave Frost a perfect 11-0 regular-season mark in his second season as head coach. He has been rumored to be a candidate for the Nebraska jobs for weeks — if not longer — along with openings at Florida, Tennessee and elsewhere.

If the report is accurate, he will replace Mike Riley, who went 19-19 in three seasons in Lincoln. Frost, a Nebraska native, played quarterback for the Huskers from 1995-97 and led them to the 1997 national championship.
