1. DANIEL CARLSON — AUBURN
THE SKINNY: Carlson (6-3/220) isn't just the best kicker in the SEC, he's the best kicker in the country in terms of which one may be drafted next spring. We all know kickers don't exactly get drafted in bushels, but this is one guy who may be a day three pick. Carlson is a big guy with a long leg, and he's incredible accurate — and he's been doing it for Auburn since he was a freshman. And hey, NFL teams … need a punter in a pinch? He did that too, as a freshman, averaging 42 yards per boot.
STATS: In three seasons, Carlson has hit 69 out of 83 field goal attempts for a 83.1 percent success rate. Last year he hit four field goals out of seven attempts from 50+ yards.
