CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It's the perennial power vs. the upstart as BR-57 Shaw and BR-11 Virginia Union won their respective contests on CIAA Semifinal Friday inside Time Warner Cable Arena.
Shaw defeated BR-93 Chowan 86-77 in a game that wasn't as close as the final score indicated while CIAA Player of the Year Kiana Johnson had herself a day, scoring 41 points as the Lady Panthers pounded BR-168 Livingstone 93-63.
