No. 57 Noah Fisher
South Alabama – OT
South Alabama's offensive line allowed one sack every 12 dropbacks in both 2015 and 2016, ranking 110th and 105th in the FBS, respectively. Last year, after two straight seasons with a sack rate above 8.4 percent, they allowed a sack every 17 dropbacks, or a rate of 5.7 percent, good for 57th nationally.
While the entire unit improved, the man leading the charge was all-conference left tackle Noah Fisher, a former two-star who accepted his lone offer. The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder enters his final season with 25 consecutive starters and has been a fixture on a line that battled injuries and inconsistency for much of the last three years.
"He's very athletic for a big guy and he moves well. He does a great job of protecting the quarterback," South Alabama offensive line coach Mike Bangtson said. "Noah comes off the ball well in the run game. I've been impressed with him, not only as a player, but as a leader. He's an upperclassman and he's done a great job of embracing the transition."
Noah Fisher is the best No. 57 in college football.
