Final Three Games Could Launch SUU Into FCS Playoffs
At first blush, a schedule consisting of back-to-back road games at BR-46 Montana State and BR-15 Portland State (they of the two wins over FBS squads), and a season-home finale against BR-47 Northern Arizona might seem like a massive obstacle. In reality, wins over these conference foes would solidify a spot in the FCS playoffs and could result in an opening-round home game.
Just as importantly, because SUU doesn’t face BR-26 Eastern Washington (the Eagles are the only other team undefeated in conference play), winning the remainder of its games guarantees at least a share of the Big Sky Conference crown.
