While the defense is led by a trio of potential NFL standouts, there’s plenty of credit to go around on the offensive side of the ball.
Malik Brown leads SUU with 592 yards rushing and 5 touchdowns. Levi Te’o and Jarom Healey are each fast approaching the 300-yard mark for an offense that averages 165 yards on the ground per contest.
The captain of the Thunderbirds’ ship is QB Ammon Olsen. Along with 3 rushing touchdowns, the senior from Draper, Utah is completing over 62 percent of his passes for nearly 2,000 yards, 14 touchdowns, and just 3 interceptions. He was especially brilliant in a 44-0 win over Sacramento State, throwing for 421 yards and 5 scores.
