The 46-person hockey rosters (men plus women) are made up from players from or currently playing at 18 different universities and three men's players who went straight to pros and didn't play in college.

The University of Minnesota leads the way with seven total players, followed by Boston College with six. Wisconsin and Boston University have four each, while Yale has three.
When you break it down by the men's and women's teams individually, you'll notice the men have compiled the roster from a few more places, with the women's team more top-heavy with specific schools.

The 23-person roster for the women comes from nine schools compared to the 13 who make up the men's team — and it's top-heavy from three universities. The roster features six current or former Minnesota Golden Gophers, five current or former Boston College Eagles, and four former Wisconsin Badgers.
The now-defunct North Dakota women's hockey team has two alumni on the roster — sisters Monique and Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson, as does Minnesota Duluth. No other schools have more than two players on the team.
